Jean May / George Adams

Jean May blooms for a very long time , early October till January.  But it puts on the most amazing display in mid November

October Affair / George Adams

October Affair looks a lot like Desire.  Except that, the flowers are smaller and the petals are more pointed.
It is another Japonica that is supposed to bloom both Fall and Spring.   Again in the fall it blooms too late, .......so I gibbed it.   Last spring it did bloom, but the flowers were much more pink in color overall.  It is supposed to look as it does now, light pink with a blush pink edge.  It is listed as hardy to zone 7b.  I took a chance and tried it out, and so far it is doing very well

Autumn Sunrise / George Adams

Autumn Sunrise is another one with white flowers edged in pink ( apparently I really like those)
The single flowers are pretty big, about 3-4 inches across . They start out cup shaped, and open up almost completely flat

Desire / George Adams

Desire is a Japonica that is supposed to bloom in both the Spring and Fall.  It has perfect formal double flowers.   Again, in the Fall, it usually blooms too late.   So I gibbed some of the flowers

Long Island Pink / Deonne Finkelstein

This is Long Island Pink , taken yesterday

Daikagura /George Adams

Daikagura is a fall blooming Japonica. It has nice Big Bright Pink flowers.  It usually blooms too late, and the flowers get ruined.
But I Gibbed some of the flowers, this year ( Thanks to Jim )
So it is blooming nicely now

Double Rainbow / Geroge Adams

Another Great one, which is also one of my favorites
It has proven to be quite hardy.  The flowers are very hardy, which is unusual for a light colored flower

?????.......... / George Adams

So I bought this plant from what was Roslyn Nursery, probably close to 10 years ago as Ville De Nantes.    It was just a stick in a pot when I got it, and this is the first time it has bloomed for me.  But It doesn`t look like what I know Ville De Nantes to look like. But it has the most Amazing candy apple red flowers.  It is a really great red.  So I am happy with it, no matter what it is

Carter`s Sunburst / George Adams

This is one of my faves.

So Late !....... / George Adams

It is now April 19, and my camellias are not open yet.  I just can`t believe it !     I think this is the latest I have ever seen.  They look like they want to open, but they just aren`t doing it.   It is usually full bloom by mid April..........So Strange.   It has been cooler than normal for most of spring so far.  But not extremely so.                       I see other spring blooming plants that usually bloom at this time, proceeding to do so. Not sure what`s going on
